Homemade applesauce
I prefer to cook the 4-6 x the amount of the recipe, fill the applesauce into sterilized glasses and cook for about 30 minutes. Like that we have a small supply over the winter and look forward to it every Friday – because Friday is pancake day in our house!
Fast autumn dessert with fine applesauce
At the moment we love to simply fill a little bit of Greek yoghurt into small glasses, sprinkle fine applesauce on top and perhaps add some roasted nuts or seeds. Depending on our mood. So there you have a quick, delicious autumn dessert or even a snack, when the homework for the kids take toooo long!

Description
Very fine, creamy applesauce – yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 kg of red apples
- 250 ml of water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Wash apples, quarter, core and cut into pieces
- Boil with the water
- Add spices to it
- Simmer gently until the apples are quite soft
- Take out the cinnamon stick
- Puree in a blender or with an immersion blender
- season with lemon juice
- Fill in glasses while hot and let cool down
