Turmeric-Paste
- 200 ml water or 1 cup
- 5 teespoons turmeric
Mix the water and the turmeric in a small casserole and let simmer for 10-20 minutes, or unless you get a smoothie paste. You can keep it in a closed container or jar or about 1-2 weeks in the refrigerator
Turmeric Milk
- 1,5 teaspoons coconut oil
- 5 cardamon pods
- fresh grounded pepper
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 teaspoons turmeric paste
- 1 teaspoon marple syrup
- 400 ml / 2 cups milk or plant milk
Heat the coconut oil in a small casserole. Take out the seeds of the cardamon and lightly crush in a mortar. Put all spices (including the vanilla seeds) into the hot oil and heat it up together. Add the turmeric paste and mix it with the spices, then add the milk and the marple syrup to your taste. Enjoy!
